Candidate must have passed or appearing the Qualifying Examination i.e., the ‘10+2’ or equivalent Exam. With Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application / Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.

Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects taken together.

Must have passed English in the ‘10+2’ Examination with at least 30% marks.

The lower age limit is 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2022. There is no upper age limit.

Candidates must be a Diploma Holder in Engineering from an AICTE approved Institute with minimum 45% marks or B.Sc. Degree Holder from a UGC recognized University with minimum 45% marks with a valid Rank Card of JELET (conducted by WBJEEB).

B. Pharm. Pharmacy

Candidate must have passed ‘10+2’ examination with physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.

Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and PWD candidates) in the above three subjects taken together.

Must have passed English in ‘10+2’ examination with at least 30% marks.

The Board of the said Qualifying examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned. However as per the rules of the concerned Regulatory Body, the students passing ‘10+2’ qualification from non-formal and non-classrooms-based schooling such as National Institute of Open schooling, open school system of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission in B. Pharm. Course.

B. Pharm. (LATERAL) Pharmacy

A candidate who wishes to pursue a higher course in Pharmacy with D. Pharm. qualification is eligible to take admission in the B. Pharm. course through lateral entry (JELET) (conducted by WBJEEB). The B. Pharm. lateral entry helps the candidates to take direct admission to B. Pharm. course in the second year. Such candidates can be turned into Pharmacy Graduates with three years of further studies. If a candidate wants to get admitted to the 2nd year of B. Pharm. (i.e. lateral entry), he must have passed D. Pharm. from a PCI approved Institute. The candidates should have secure at least 60% marks in their three-years diploma programme.

B. Arch. Architecture

No candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.

Candidate must also qualify in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and also should have a valid rank in WBJEE / JEE MAIN paper-I.

Or

No candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination and a valid rank in JEE MAIN paper-II.
